She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Beck and Elsie Beck; her former spouse Lee C. DeNike; and her spouse Clarke Thornton. She is survived by: her daughter Carol Kulas (Kurt); and her grandchildren, Whitney Kulas, Danny Kulas and John Kulas (Claire).
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Birmingham First United Methodist Church (1589 W Maple Rd, Birmingham, MI 48009).
