He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Paul and Veronica Galvin; his wife Mary Catherine "Mickey" MacDonald; and his children, Paul, Kathleen, Maureen (Mark), Brian, Mary Ann (Harold), Terry (Christine), Daniel (Amy), Karen (Michael) and Erin (Steve). He was also cherished by his 26 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many siblings, nieces and nephews.

His family was the foundation of his life.
