Marylyn Jane Pausch Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Marylyn Jane Pausch of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Marylyn Jane Pausch to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll M. Smart and Hazel Westerberg Smart; her siblings, Carol Jacobs and Bob Smart; and her former husband Jack Pausch.

She is survived by: her sons, Rick (Tammy), Bob (Gail) and Jeffery "J. P." (Darlien); her grandchildren, Ethan Simmons (Brittany), Sarah Isaacson (James), Robert Pausch (Sarah), Amanda Pausch, Landen Pausch and Lorren Pausch; and her great grandchildren, Kinsley, Lincoln, Tinlee, Paislee and Robert.

Special thanks to Rick and Tammy for many years of care and support, as well as J. P. and Darlien who opened their home to Marylyn during the pandemic and helped guide her care in the final years of a life altering dementia diagnosis. Also special thanks to the staffs at the adult day care program at Riverside Park Church of God in Livonia and Sunrise Senior Living in Bloomfield Hills who helped Marylyn adjust to her new normal. And special thanks to granddaughter Sarah who sought out ways to connect to her grandmother and create special memories in spite of the challenges of the pandemic and dementia.
