She was predeceased by: her husband Duncan R. McGillivray; her parents, Harold Aarons and Mariam Aarons (Bostwick); and her brother Bradford Aarons. She is survived by: her children, Laura (McGillivray), Holmes (Ted) of Seattle, WA and Neil McGillivray (Laureen) of Dorset, VT; and her sister-in-law Patricia Shile Aarons of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the the Lewiston Library, or its Library Garden, 2851 Kneeland St., Lewiston, MI 49756, as well as The Village Club Foundation, 190 East Long Lake Rd., Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304.
