She was predeceased by: her husband Tom; her parents, Ken Yeakel and Peg Yeakel; her niece Diane Corrigan; and her nephew Craig Yeakel.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Root, Laura Yeros, Lynn Root and Lisa Swinehart; and her siblings, Marilyn Carr, Diane Damitio, Judy Erickson, Kenny Yeakel and Carol Wright. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
