He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sally Soverinsky; his children, Linda Jacobson (Steve), Mark Soverinsky (Lisa), Jerry Soverinsky (Jana), Randy Soverinsky (Brenda), Denise Kaplan and Dana Ishbia (Joel); his grandchildren, Arica Jacobson (Ryan Levine), Rachel Jacobson (Joel Goldstein) and Josh Jacobson; his great grandchildren, Yahra Goldstein, Gedalia Jacobson, Maya Levine and Bailey Levine; his parents, Rayetta Soverinsky and Aaron Soverinsky; his sister Marlene Toft; and his siblings-in-law, Ellen and Ronny Schmier.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ira Kaufman Chapel (18325 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075). A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Clover Hill Park Cemetery (2425 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham, MI 48009).
