She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edith Covensky and Harvey Covensky; her brother Jeffrey Covensky; and her nieces and nephews, Ainsley and Aden Covensky.

“I remember when I first met Laurice. She was a wonderful soul. I treasured our friendship and our time together. I'm so grateful for how close we were as friends during my time in law school. We fell out of contact so I just saw she passed away. We spent time together again in 2019 and we went to see the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. It warmed my heart seeing how she was filled with joy being there. Laurice had such a beautiful smile and infectious laugh. I love you and will miss you so much, Mike”
