He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Christine Ruth Bowler (Connor) and Webster Lazell Bowler; his wife Jill Adams; his son Mark Bowler PhD; his daughter-in-law Jenifer Bowler PhD; his grandsons, Mason, Mitchell and Marshall; and his brothers, Roger and Glen.
