He was predeceased by: his parents, Angus Thomson and Jessie Thomson; and his siblings, Kenneth Thomson (Judy) and Margaret Phelps (late Cecil). He is survived by: his wife Dr. Irene Lazarchuk; his sons, Andrew J. Thomson and Mark J. Thomson (Tonnie); his grandchildren, Margaret, Oksana and Ruth; his sister Catherine Herman (late James); and his brother-in-law Dr. Peter Lazarchuk (Christine). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, relatives in Scotland and dear friends.
