He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his stepdaughter Natasha Hamilton (Jason); his sister Angelina Dakesian; his children, Candida D'Avanzo (Simon Herrera) of Louisa Azeglio, Roberto D'Avanzo, Sandina Polgar (Mark), Consuelo Ordo (Chris) and Gina Barro (Steve) of Roberta Hall; his daughter-in-law Judith; his sisters-in-law, Colleen Ruokolainen and Kathleen Bleise (Carl); his grandchildren, Jennifer Naik (Parimal), Ellen Genaw (Jimmy), Evan Polgar, Katie D'Avanzo, Alex D'Avanzo, Julianna D'Avanzo, Christopher Ordo, Conor Ordo, Liam Hamilton and Fiona Hamilton; and his sons, Vasu and Rodgers. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
