He was predeceased by: his brother Donald Bigelman; and his parents, Leo Bigelman and Celia Bigelman. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey, Dr. Jill Javahery (Ramin), Joe Bigelman (Sharone) and Jessica Shwedel (Scott); his grandchildren, Jonah, Noah, Ethan, Ari, Jacob, Amelia, Leah and Seth; and his sister Rhoda Goldman (Jerry Nix).

It is suggested that those who wish to further honor the memory of Jerrold "Jerry" M. Bigelman may do so by making a contribution to: Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 304.
