She was predeceased by: her spouse Sidney L. Shayne; her son-in-law Alan Horowitz; her sisters, Anne Gaynes (late Joseph), Dorothy Haber (late Harold) and Gloria Swibel (late Morris); and her parents, Fannie Weindling and Henry Weindling.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Shayne Horowitz (Richard Eaton), Nancy Shayne, Karen Halberg (Rick) and Patti Shayne; her grandchildren, Joshua Syme, Andy Halberg (Jameson) and Emily Piper (Marc); her great grandchildren, Ella, Noah Halberg, Leo, Owen and Max Piper; her pet Lucky; and also Saddye. She is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
