He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Howard Brophy (Dana) of Bloomfield Hills, Margaret Kowal (Daniel) of Birmingham and Kay Baer (Oliver) of Rockford, Illinois.; and his grandchildren, Claire, Lawson, Mallory Brophy, Cate, Kelsey, Dylan Kowal, Diesel and Ayrshire Baer.
