He was predeceased by: his wives, Lois Sandberg and Dorothy Superstine Sandberg; and his siblings, Avery Sandberg (late Maryn) and Arthur Sandberg (late Marion). He is survived by: his children, Daniel Sandberg (Dawn Flint), Dr. Sharon Sandberg (Marc Tarnopol) and Jacob Sandberg; his grandchildren, Lauren Lewis (Jake), Erinn Sandberg, Rebecca Tarnopol, Craig Tarnopol, Drew Tarnopol and Liana Tarnopol; his great grandchildren, Claire Lewis and Margaux Lewis; his stepdaughter Jody Grossman (Richard); and his caregivers, Delicia Williams and Nonita Knitter.
