With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gaylord Alexander of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Gaylord shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gaylord farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Sally Alexander; and his parents, William Alexander and Sophia Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Judy Alexander; his children, Caryn Martinez (Alex) and Robert Alexander (Stacey); and his grandchildren, Lia Martinez, Dr. Amanda Alexander and Dr. Brandon Alexander.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 7:00 PM. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Clover Hill Park Cemetery (2425 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham, MI 48009). A shiva was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Residence of Robert and Stacey Alexander (30840 Tanglewood Trail, Farmington Hills, MI 48331).
