She was predeceased by: her husband Heinz; her sister Kathryn Paul; her nephew Timothy Paul; and her grandson Joshua Wernecke. She is survived by: her children, Robert Wernecke of Rockwood, Ann Wernecke of Southfield, Thomas Wernecke of Southfield and Rev. John (Susan Wernecke) of Bay City, Michigan. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and many very special friends.
