He is survived by: his wife Nettie Boivin (Casarez); his children, Mirabelle and Bastian; his parents, Gene Boivin and Carol Boivin (Einhouse); his siblings, Niki Boivin and Peter Boivin (Alexa Stanard); his nephews, Gordon Kloostra and Nathan Binder; his niece Naomi; his mother-in-law Anne Casarez (Fouts); his siblings-in-law, Regina Retan (Steve) and Mara Casarez Weston; and his nieces and nephews, Maya, Seth Retan, Theo and Annie Weston.
