She was predeceased by: her parents, Verdo Sanderson and Jessma Sanderson (Rye); her husband Chester F. Emerson; her daughter Robin Lippens; her siblings, Don Sanderson and Josephine Stevens (Robert); and her brother-in-law Marine Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Charles "Chuck" Emerson (Heidi) of Blissfield and Janine Walters (Doug) of Monroe; her sister Muriel "Dean" Smith of Fayetteville, Tennessee; her sister-in-law Ruth Sanderson of Fayette, OH; her grandchildren, Amanda, Brad Emerson, Nathan Fuller and MacKenzie Lippens; and her great grandchildren, Blake, Garrett Iffland, Samantha and Lane Smith-Emerson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home - Blissfield (9205 US-223, Blissfield, MI 49228). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Pleasant View Cemetery (9205 US-223, Blissfield, MI 49228).
