He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Rhonda Hall (Scott) of Blissfield and Robert Whitman Jr. (Gwenn) of Whitehouse, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Alisha Hall (Jesse Sieler), Nathan Hall (Kelsey), Mikaela Formsma (Greg), Gabrielle Winkler (Joey), Robert Whitman III, Wyatt Whitman and Raelynn Whitman; his brothers, James Whitman (Elaine) and Buford Whitman (Alice); his brother-in-law James Armstrong (Joyce); his parents-in-law, Donald and Irene Armstrong; and his siblings, Earl, Jesse, Melvin Whitman, Doll Moody, Catherine Pounds, Ollie Mae and Flossy Whitman.
