He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cranor and Hazel Cranor; his sister Janice Dwiggins; and his daughter Kristen Witt. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jones; his children, Kim Cranor (Loraine), Kyle Cranor (Patti), Scott Jones (Joy) and Erin Abbott (Chad); his grandchildren, Regina Livesay, Brooke McLaughlin (Shawn), Korey Cranor, Abby Slusher, Devon Slusher, Tyler Jones, Carter Jones (Katie) and Dylan Jones; and his great grandchild Henry McLaughlin.
