It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelson Jay Dean Jr. of Blissfield, Michigan, born in River Rouge, Michigan, who passed away on June 18, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Sr. Dean and Hazel Dean (Perkins); his wife Linda Mae Hagerty; and his siblings, Eleanor Anderson, Jean Brown, Leona Graves, Madeline Manning, Evelyn Dean, Neosha Bancroft, Robert and John Dean.
He is survived by: his children, Nelson III Dean (Sandy Ferris) of Casselbury, FL, Daniel Dean of Milan, Melinda Schudel (Scott) of Adrian and Melissa Lee (Scott) of Brighton; his brother William Dean of Stockton, CA; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Hospice of Lenawee.
