She was predeceased by: her parents, John Williams and Annie Williams (Seymore); her siblings, Gladys Broadwater, Wanda Lee Syre, Geraldine Butler, Chester Higgs and Claude Williams (Sonny); and her godson Sammy Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her spouse Sam F. Averill; her children, Melvin Averill of Clayton, MI, Frankie Cook (Jim) of Clermont, FL, Colby Averill (Bev) of Jackson, MI, Dianna Holloway (Russell) of Adrian, MI, Becky Thompson (Jim) of Palmyra, MI and Russ Averill (Donna) of South Lyon, MI.; her grandchildren, Samantha Averill, Audre Cook, Rachel Loar (Scott), Jackie Cooper (Corey), Caroline Flores (Josh), Stephanie Rangel (Jesse), Dan Cook (Katie), Ty Averill (Melissa), Chad Averill, Katie Averill, Jessica Edmonson (Erik), Krissy Holloway (David Gurtzweiler), Duane Thompson (Tabitha), James Thompson (Brooklyn Beaver), Tommy Averill and Brian Averill; and her sisters, Rachel Howard of McCrory, AR and Wanda Jean Sheldon (Solon) of Blissfield, MI.. She is also survived by extended family and many wonderful friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to Hospice of Lenawee or the Jacksonport Baptist Church.
