He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sanders and Daisy Sanders (Flippin); his wife Maryann Lett; his daughter Mary Melinda Sanders; and his brothers, Thomas, Gary, Leonard, Fred William, Jr. and Jimmy Sanders.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Sanders, Christine Shaffer (Jay) and Kimberly Booth; his grandchildren, Chloe Mae Beaverson and Nicholas Shaffer; and his sister Wilma Smith.
