He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Powelson and Helen Powelson (Ackels); his children, Anna Marie Powelson and Jeremy Jay Powelson; and his brothers, Russell, Raymond, Gary and Lyle Powelson.
He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, Rebecca DenDauw (Russ), Kevin Powelson, Susan Powelson and Lori Powelson-Victoriano (Adrian); and his sisters, Shirley Hearn (Craig) and Lorraine Powelson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
