It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Katherine Nielsen (Blanchard, Michigan), born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on April 16, 2019, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Walter Albert; her significant other Todd Nielsen of Blanchard; her children, Julie Snyder (Steven) of Six Lakes, Eva Spedoske-Campbell (Brett) of Shepherd, Jared Nielsen of Stanton and Alex Ballard-Nielsen (Meggan) of Blanchard; her grandchildren, Bailey, Robert, Carlee, Laila, Jack, Laine, Henry, Spencer, Gracie and Brody; her siblings, Dale Near, Sandy Edgerly of Morley and Kenneth "Kenny" Near of Howard City; her mother Audrey Hall; her son-in-law Robert A. Spedoske; her brothers, Jerry Near, Mark Hall and Jim "Buzz" Hall; and her siblings-in-law, Jay Edgerly and Betty Near. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
