Bonna Crawford Johnson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonna Crawford Johnson of Blanchard, Michigan, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurston Mason and Edna Mason (Raymond); her children, Daniel and Jacqueline; her former husband Jack Crawford; her husband Ken Johnson; and her great grandchild Alex Crawford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jann LaPointe (Ken) of Blanchard and Jodi Sexton (Terry) of Alva, Florida; her brothers, Jerry Mason (Helen) of Elmira and Jim Mason (Jill) of Belding; her stepdaughters, Debra Johnson (Arnold Derrickson) and Denise Rahjes (Don); and her grandchildren, Kim Jankowsky (Gary), Lori Carlberg (Carey), Jake Crawford, Cortney Crawford (Zeke Mattis), Abbi Smith (Coy), Chris Sexton (Ashley), Danielle LaPointe Soller (Teddy), David LaPointe (Allison), Dustin Crawford (Recia) and Brandon Crawford (Tori). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren (two on the way), nine great-great-grandchildren (two on the way), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Care Team Hospice or the Montabella Community Schools Education Fund through the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation, which was established by Bonna Kay's lifelong friends, Sharron and the late Ronald L. Farrell.
