He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Berndt and Violet Guild Berndt; his grandson Joseph Guild; his siblings, Donald Guild, Wilma Cross and Betty Jean Guild; and his parents-in-law, George and Elsie Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Leta M. Brown of Six Lakes; his children, Jeffrey Lynn Guild of California, Arthur Joe Guild (Shelley) of Sidney, Jane Marie Hagen (Lonnie) of Edmore and James Ronald Guild (Roxanne) of Wyoming, Mi; his siblings, Ronald Guild Jr. of California, Chester Lee Guild of Edmore, Robert Lee Guild (Charlotte) of Big Rapids, Alvie Berndt (Donna) of Vestaburg and Bonnie Proctor (Gary) of Alma; and his siblings-in-law, George Brown Jr., Dale Brown and Marcella Christensen. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
