He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William L. Jones and Marian E. Jones (Tibbetts); his wife Beverly A. Lindsey; his children, Susan Nothnagel (Dale), Tom Jones (Barbara Smith) and Patricia Jones; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Adam, Ian, Alexander, Ruth, Leanne, Lindsey, Brandy and Aaron. He was also cherished by 34 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
