He was predeceased by: his former wife Shirley Snyder; his son David; his stepson-in-law James Compeau; and his siblings, Josephine McLennon, Delema Potvin, Pauline Retherford, Yvonne Bouchard, Paul Cadieux, Benjamin, Hector, Joseph, Fredrick, Ernie, Hank and Edward Gauthier.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his daughters, Michelle Grappin (Michael) of Metamora and Amanda Gauthier of Bradenton; his stepchildren, Debra Compeau of Spruce, Daniel Olson of Black River and Douglas Olson of Spruce; and his siblings, Loretta Baxter, Clifford (Delores), Everett and Bernard Gauthier. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
