With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald E. LaFave of Black River, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward LaFave and Yvonne LaFave (Potvin); his stepson Kenneth Stone; and his siblings, Barry LaFave, Kim LaFave, Lois LaVergne and Janet LaFave.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Marschner; his stepchildren, Laura LeClair, Harvey John Hanner Jr. (Leann) and Terry Skiba (Harry); and his siblings, Scott LaFave (Laurie), Duane LaFave (Faith), Darryl LaFave (Hope), Jim LaFave (Marsha) and Deetta Campbell (Jeff). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gillies Funeral Home (104 W Alger St, Lincoln, MI 48742). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM.
