He was predeceased by: his mother Eva; his wife Annie Angeline Smith; and his sister Nancy Gerard. He is survived by: his stepfather Harry Gerard; his children, Carol (Mark) of Saginaw, Charlotte (Joe) of Hubbard Lake, Barbara of Annandale, VA and Lyle of Black River; and his siblings, Lanny Gerard, Larry Gerard (Shirley) and Linda Blumer (Roger).
