He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. T. and Katherine Smith (Haas); and his son David Smith. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Smith of Bitely; and his sons, Edward Smith (Jean) of Nunica and Michael Smith of Florida. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
