He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Westervelt and Marie Westervelt (Schlee). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jacobs; his son William R. Westervelt (Chris); his granddaughters, Katrina M. (Antonio Belmontes) and Megan Boyer (Nathan Keesler); and his brother David Westervelt (Debbie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
