She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mildred Swart and Arza Swart; her children, Mallory (Jack Byrne) and Cameron; her husband David Smyk; and her sister Michaela.

In honor of her contributions to the French trade ministry, Molly was awarded two honors by the President of France.
