She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shumate and Nora Shumate. She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Howse (Joseph); and her granddaughter Elana Howse. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Metropolitan 7th Day Adventist (15585 Haggerty Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170).
