He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda; his parents, Sandford Friedman and Maxine Friedman; his sons, Seth (Jennifer) and Scott (Ashley); his grandchildren, Aubrey (Seth), Madelyn, Kenneth, Ethan and Abigail (Scott); and his sisters, Leona Smiler (Barry) and Judy Carbone (Ralph).

In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial tributes to Michigan Humane Society.
