She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Shelton Farris Jr.; her children, Shelley Farris Beck and Thomas Shelton Farris III; her grandchildren, Stephanie Mae Beck and Daniel Farris Beck; her sister Gertrude Huart; her nephews, Teddy Huart (Connie) and Steven Huart (Betty); and her children-in-law, Douglas Beck and Ann Farris.

Donations to Habitat for Humanity in her memory are welcomed.
