He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Geretha Thompson Sr. (Key); his wife Betty Ferguson; his stepdaughters, Pam Satchell, Tina Satchell, Mary Satchell and Becky Satchell; his grandmother Hattie Reed; and his sister Margaret Thompson.
He is survived by: his daughter Trishia Kleinfeld-Reed (Rick); his grandchildren, Amber Sholler (Brad) and Austin Kleinfeld (Chi Chi); his great grandchildren, Braxton Sholler and Kathleen Kleinfeld; and his siblings, Kathy Sherman (Bill), Linda Musial (Mike) and Jim Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
