He is survived by: his grandchild Detroit Tigers; his spouse Carol; his children, Thomas Ballard, Glenn Ballard (Lila), Shelly Ballard (Aaron Miller) and Shawn Skoglund (John); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Cameron, Gabrielle, Madison, Haley, Kelsey, Abbey and Adam; his great grandchildren, Nora, Marcella and Sophia; and his siblings, Ruby Schalk, Janice Oliver and Glenna Carlyle.
