He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell and Margaret Carney Sr. (Hopkins); and his brother Paul Carney. He is survived by: his wife Susan K. Clark; his children, Jaclyn Maclin (Nick), Megan Carney and Vanessa Carney; his grandchildren, Dakota, Gideon, Devon, Josephine and Jesse; and his siblings, Michael Carney, James Carney (Joyce), Patty Curtis (Dwight), Laurie Carney, Robert Carney (Theresa) and Craig Carney (Kim).
