He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Zissler and Agnes Zissler (Wagner); and his sisters, Janet Rose and SueAnn Zissler. He is survived by: his wife Norma Zissler; his children, Jenny Peterman (Jeff), Tina Morrell, Lisa Wozniak (Rodney), Jeffery Zissler, Pam Loomis (Ron) and Paul Strobel (Gladys); his grandchildren, Justin, Garrett, Shelley, Benjamin, Mathew, Zac, Hunter, Priya, Kai, Mitch, Mandy, Cory, Lindsey and Payton; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Alexa, Gunner, Hadleigh, Quentin, Logan, Andre, Avery and Sidney; his brother Roger Zissler (Karla); and also, Mitch and Deb Jekel.
