With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger W. Nixon of Birch Run, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 11, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nixon and Dora Nixon (Denman); and his sister-in-law Barbara Nixon. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Maggie" Nixon; his daughters, Elizabeth Laux (Benjamin) and Emily Willshire (Benjamin); his grandchildren, Dominic and Rose; his siblings, Dale Nixon, Dewey Nixon (Cathi), Brian Nixon (Sheryl) and Jean Delaney (David); and his pets, Dasher and Roxie. He is also survived by Many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Stroke Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation, or the Humane Society of Saginaw County.
