He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Sackett; and his sister-in-law Naomi Sackett. He is survived by: his close friend Tracie Skidmore; his children, Kelsie Garl (Jason) and Valerie Helpap (Alex); his grandchildren, Jace, Zoie, Devrie, Teagan, Tatum and Jo Avery; his siblings, Larry Sackett, Alan Sackett, Jeff Sackett, Cindy Yuker and Theresa Martin; and the mother of his children Tracie Sackett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.
