He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Groulx and Louise Groulx (Froats); his wife Sandra Grew; his sister Rosemary Pataky; and his pet Mitsy.

He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Rzepka (James) and Randy Grew (Kathy); his grandchildren, Ryan, Zachary (Andrea) and Audretta; his great grandchildren, Ella, Ethan, Macie and Dean; and his sisters, Veraline Matzke and Bethany Chevrette.
