She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Bauer and Martha Bauer (Bierlein); her husband Ronald Reimer; and her siblings, Ruth Landskroener, Doris Janson and Roy Bauer.
She is survived by: her children, Candace Stowell (Kevin) and Wade Reimer; her grandchildren, Nicholas Tucker, Alexander Stowell, Jennalee Stowell and Alaina Stowell; and her great grandchildren, Wesley Wade Green and Brynlee Mae Wellington.

Marie was born January 28, 1933, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Phillip and Martha (Bierlein) Bauer.
