He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Thompson and Laura Thompson (Demona); and his spouse Shirley Hamling. He is survived by: his children, Randy Hamling (Patti), Terry Thompson (Peggy), Pam McKee, Michael Thompson (Carrie) and Joy Bentley (Dirk). He is also survived by Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; Siblings, and many nieces and nephews.
