It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Marie (Waggoner) Crane of Birch Run, Michigan, born in Merrill, Michigan, who passed away on February 8, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Leo; her sons, Robert Waggoner Jr. (Kathy), Thomas L. Waggoner (Linda), Bruce Waggoner (Marsha) of Springfield, VA, Kevin Waggoner (Frances) and Ty Waggoner; her sister Marion Hurst; her former husband Robert A. Waggoner, Sr.; her brothers, Roy and Dale Trombley; her grandson Thomas R. Waggoner; her spouse Walt Crane; her stepsons, Daniel Crane (Diane), David Crane (Jane), Delmar Crane (Barb) and Dennis Crane (Stephanie); and also L. Walter "Walt" Crane. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Helen's life filled in the years between the great pandemics of the Spanish Flu and now Covid-19, a contagion she contracted and brushed aside though even in a weakened state of old age.
