He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Mattis and Elsie Mattis (Mieske); and his brother Dick Mattis. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Mattis; his children, Scott Harrison, Tracy and Gary Perakovic; his grandchildren, Shaun, Hannah Perakovic, Aaron and Kara Perakovic; his great grandchildren, Zach Perakovic and Zoe Perakovic; his sister-in-law Irene Mattis; his nephews, Dale Mattis and Ted Mattis; his niece Julie (Mike Babcock); and his great-nephew Justin Mattis.
