George Edward King Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2025, at the age of 94, George Edward King of Birch Run, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Edward King to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley King and Helen King (Moore); his wife Bernice King; his son Stephen King; his son-in-law Gregg Mocklin; and his brothers, David King, Edward King and Michael King.

He is survived by: his children, Vicky Mocklin, Kathy Little, Debbie Chaffer (Darren), Belinda Harding (Steve), Penny Wanless (Brian) and Robin Wedde (Lyle); his grandchildren, Robin VanGuilder (Jordan), Sarah Mocklin, Don Little (Tasha), Jason Little (Kari), Nichole Newbold (Josh), AJ Thomas (Tiffany), Jamie Matson (Mat), Alisha Smith (Justin), Shannon Nagy (Keith) and Matthew Wanless (Amanda); and his sisters-in-law, Joanne King and Margaret King. He is also survived by several great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes - Birch Run Chapel (8116 Main St, Birch Run, MI 48415). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
