It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Rex Sheppard (Birch Run, Michigan), born in East Jordan, Michigan, who passed away on December 18, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Sheppard and Hazel Sheppard (Folsom); his daughter Janet Brehaut; his sister Freda Upper; and his son-in-law John Starkel.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Sheppard; his children, Clara Jean Starkel, Linda Engel (Barry), Charlotte Payne (Rodney), Virgil Sheppard (Lisa), Jim Sheppard and David Sheppard (Wendy); his brother Arve Sheppard; and his son-in-law Jerry Brehaut.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
